Synopsis

Love actually is a wonderful movie about different kinds of love. The Christmas theme running throughout the movie is the backdrop for 10 romance based stories. Produced and aired in 2003, the stories start five weeks before Christmas. Several of the individuals are interlinked in some way; for example Emma Thompson who plays Karen the wife of an ad agency, is the sister of David (played by Hugh Grant) who is the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. At the end of the movie there is an epilogue that shows these same individuals one month later into their stories. There is a well-known cast; Hugh Grant, Liam Neeson, Colin Firth, and Emma Thompson, and Claudia Schiffer has a small roll.
